Linux Day in Italy

Hi guys!

Next October 27th in Italy will be an important event concerning Linux:
Linux Day 2007

In different cities every LUG organize local event, with topic "Linux,
free software and opensource".

Last year we have more than one hundred events in more than an hundred
cities!

I've just added the link of the event to "Fedora Event page". It's
impossible to be present on all event, but for "Lodi" (small city near
Milan) I'll be ready ;-)

Are there some ambasadors interessed to be present?

Maybe in irc we could discuss about topics, dvds and so on...

Hi Francesco,

actually some italian ambassadors cover local events, unfortunately i will participate to the events in my region (Tuscany), you may also try to contact the other ambassadors (someone came from northern italy).

I'll be with the Avellino LUG and maybe in Salerno (Campania) this year.

It would be nice to have few Fedora DVDs or gadgets this year,
especially because we will already have many Ubuntu DVDs, I would like
to present to the public Fedora also.

I'll be in fedora-mkgt today around 18.00 (CET) (infact I'm there
already logged but I'm going away for a couple of hours), if we want to
talk about it, I was thinking that a live meeting with other lugs would
be nice to have, if we can set up something that would be great!

Hi Francesco, no worries.

I think today around 9.00pm I'll be a bit on the channel, but I'll be
out in the next 3, 4 days (I'll be in Torino to see Police live!!
yeah :). Anyway, I'm always there (nick neugens), so no problems, if you
find me, just ping.

We could schedule a real meeting so that all the interested ambassadors
could join by the end of this week, say on friday, around 18.00 pm CET?

Ah, i forgot!  I have 6 Fedora posters taken at LinuxTag Berlin, i may 
also send some of those

If you want some swags you have to complete the request form you may 
find in the fedora project wiki.
