I know this was mentioned earlier in the free-media list but I feel this list is a more appropriate discussion forum.
I personally feel we should give the options to our 'customers' as to whether they want the live-cd's or the dvd's. As Rahul mentioned some people do not have dvd capable drives and I personally feel giving that option for the live-cd's would be an added bonus.
I would love your thoughts but I don't think it would be any extra effort for us to hold 5 iso's instead of 3. Or maybe its 6 iso's I haven't had a good look. Either way I don't mind I just thought because of our new live-cd's we should advertise that fact. I still see forum posts saying we only have dvd's when in fact this is not correct.
Regards,
Marc
Yeah.. I feel the same way too. It will be easy for us to send on cd.

I think the most important thing right now is to just Fill Media requests. We'll deal with the types once we're caught up because the choice won't come into effect until next month anyway.
We're 50 in the hole for FC6 on the May list and the list is overflowing as of this morning (meaning we'll have more than the 200 Thomas set for quota)
If you don't want to fill them directly there are options you can promote.
[1] Thomas is taking donations http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Distribution/FreeMedia/Donation
[2] Encourage those who buy a disc to Sponsor Media http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Distribution/SponsoredMedia?
[3] Encourage those you know who are selling Media to become sponsors or to buy media with sponorships built in http://on-disk.com/product_info.php/products_id/282 http://on-disk.com/product_info.php/products_id/283
The problem I have, is that I want to contribute but I don't have easy access to a DVD burner, so while I could make about 50 live cds I can't do any DVDs (atm :)) Of course, making 50 Live-CDs is moot as I can only really ship to the UK and there are only about 8 or so in the list...

I think it would be more helpful to focus on what you can do. Get the word out about donations and Sponsorships would be beyond helpful.
