Hi all,
I apologize for missing tonight's meeting – I was unexpectedly busy tonight and wasn't able to make the meeting time. Normally I would announce ahead of time if I were unable to make it, but it completely slipped my mind.
I just wanted to give an update on the BrickHack ticket and some other things via email for now.
========================================================================
BrickHack Update
I received the banners from Brian, the event box from Andrew, and some extra swag from Ben on Tuesday. We have BlueHost hosting vouchers to award as prizes, and Remy has a few other prizes he picked up from OpenSource.com and Red Hat Tower. So far, everything seems to be going ahead as scheduled.
Since the last meeting we attended, there are two new attendees who will be coming to BrickHack. Michael DePaulo (mikedep333) is traveling up (on his own costs since the deadline had passed for budgeting) for the entire weekend and Ryan Scott Brown (ryansb), a Red Hatter local to the area, will be attending one of the days to help in a mentor capacity.
I'm planning on arriving at 7am on Saturday to get everything set up, and Charles and Remy should be there not far after me. I'm going to have a camera to get a bunch of pictures to document our time at BrickHack, and I'll be sure to get an event report up sometime in the week following BrickHack for reporting purposes.

Bitcamp travel funding
It did come up in the meeting today that I forgot to correctly estimate my travel costs for me to get to Bitcamp. I forgot to get the ticket roundtrip, and with my Student Advantage discount on Greyhound tickets, it will be around ~$120 for me to travel to Bitcamp. I'm not sure if we had enough people in attendance tonight to vote on it, but if not, we can bring it up next week again.

Campus Ambassadors
This ticket was skipped tonight and there isn't much to add to it now, but I'm hoping to have a more thorough update on some of the progress on this next week.
Things have been busier than normal this week with an increased courseload and BrickHack, but I'm anticipating things to slow down again next week and I will have more time to work on some of these things then.
========================================================================
Sorry again for missing tonight, I'll see you all either in channel or at the next meeting.
