Dear Ambassadors in the NJ/NY/DE area of the USA,
Could i get a volunteer who would be interested in talking with John
Boris of LOPSA (
http://lopsa.org)? Specifically:
* Whether a Fedora Ambassador might want to represent the Fedora
Project at this event
* Regional lists or other venues where Fedora Ambassadors might be
able to help spread news about this event
Thanks for your consideration. If someone wants to follow up with
John, please let the list know you've got the ball. Thanks!
Paul

John,
Our user list has a worldwide membership, oriented around users for
tech support (as opposed to system administrators and IT professionals
exclusively) and therefore this announcement might not make sense to
people on the list. Typically we don't advertise conferences on that
list. Perhaps I could put you in touch with our Fedora Ambassadors in
your area to see if any of them are interested in supporting your
conference, or passing the announcement on to interested parties. Let
me know what you think.

I just didn't want to post this to the list without approval.
Good Day,
I wrote to most of you about this conference earlier. I belong to
the
organization The League of Professional System Administrators
(
www.lopsa.org,
www.lopsanj.org) and the New jersey Chapter is
holding this conference in May. I was hoping that you could pass the
attached flyer on to your IT department or to any friend or contact
you
have in the IT field. They extended the discount until March 22nd,
next
Monday. You can also pass along my email address if they have any
questions about the conference. Also any person who registers for
the
conference (even just for Saturday) will get a complete license for a
no
strings attached copy of Admin Arsenal (
www.adminarsenal.com). Admin
Arsenal is a System Administration tool for Active directory. That is
a
$999 piece of software for the price of admission.
Thanks again for your help.
