Hi everybody,
as approved by Fedora Council [1] we are replacing the FAmSCo elections with elections to a brand new body "Mindshare". You can fine more information about the Mindshare on its wiki page [2]. For this election cycle we have opened 2 seats into this body.
At the moment we are collecting questions for candidates in election's Questionnaire [3]. Please have a look at it and contribute with your questions you would like to see answered by candidates to these seats. The Questionnaire [3] is open for new questions till November 6th.

Hi everyone,
Does this means that after the elections we had, there will be another elections? Or they will take place with the other in due time? I'm confused about that.
Kind regards, Silvia

Hi Silvia,
I am not sure I understand the question, however I will try to explain.
There are new elections after every Fedora release. The last Elections to FAmSCo were after we released F26. As the release of F27 is getting close, we have already started with preparation for new Elections taking place once F27 is released. However, there are some changes in the way how Ambassadors are organized and the role of FAmSCo is going to be replaced by MIndshare body [1][2]. Does it makes sense, or did I misunderstand the question ?

Hi Jan,
Yes, this makes sense. I misunderstood the links taking it as there were some extra elections and it's not that. It's just the next time it will be a different body, instead of FAmSCo will be Miindshare. It's all clear now. Thank you very much.
Regards, Silvia
