Hi All,
This is a gentle reminder about swag / media production for F14.
This is regions specific, but if your region is going to get swags or media done, please plan for it.
According to the schedule, we also need to know who is Point of Contact for each region for doing this job and how much budget you need. Please open a ticket for the same with your regional TRAC or FAmSCo trac.
Thanks.
Hello Everyone,
Greetings. :)
Susmit, thank you for your post. :)

Absolutely! :) ==================================================
I saw the FAmSCo posting for "[FAmSCo] Call for release event preparation. Deadline is Oct 15th." -
http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/famsco/2010-September/000363.html
"... Let's start preparing for the upcoming F14 release. The deadline for submitting a proposal for release event is 15th Oct.
It would be nice if we can have more that we had last year.
Please follow these steps as usual:
1. Start by creating an wiki page. The wikipage should be at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Release_Party_F14_<your_city>.
2. Edit the page and at the top of the page write {{subst:ReleaseParty}} and save.
3. Now fill in the details.
4. Link your page from https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/F14_release_events and you are done!
Please mention for any budget or support that you may need. And BTW, if you need posters/artwork to ping design ASAP ..."
I concur with you 100%! :)
I have a couple Release Events planned and scheduled at the https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/F14_release_events and updated the wiki to have the above FAmSCo URL as an instruction. :)
May we all support in making Fedora 14 a successful release!!! :) ================================================== Sending positive Fedora 13 and Fedora 14 energy to everyone's computer now!!! :v)
Please have a great day and/or evening! :~)
Thank You
Sincerely

Hello Everyone,

================================================== I was at the Planet Fedora, http://planet.fedoraproject.org/ and I saw a post by Robyn Bergeron entitled, "Do YOU have great FUDCon or other Fedora event photos?" at http://wordshack.wordpress.com/2010/10/12/do-you-have-great-fudcon-or-other-...
"...The marketing team needs your photos! If you went to FUDCon in Zurich or Santiago in 2010, or you have been to other events (FADs, conferences, or even a local LUG meeting) and you have shots of people proudly displaying their Fedora gear, please share them with us!.."
I think that this is useful to contribute to. :)

One Page Release Notes a document meant to help people get acquainted with the newest Fedora release, replete with information about Features that everyone can understand, background on what Fedora *is*, how you can get Fedora, and information about where you can find out more.
