Hi,
Cheryn, could you check out with your side if FAD venue can be arranged in Brisbane office of RH? If not can we try Brisbane Square Library? (I am not sure if we can book for Sunday).
Also all to be @ FAD, about the Fedora cake I need a design for bakers to make it.
Regards, kaio

Oh well. I got an email from them, see attached.
Dear Luke
Hope you are well.
You have an event booked into The Edge at the State Library on the 30th
of January. Unfortunately, The Edge has been closed as a result of the floods and we do not anticipate that it will be open to the public in time for your event.
I do apologise, and hope you are able to find another venue for your
event at short notice. You will also need to update your event page on fedoraproject.org
Thanks again.
Kind regards Amy Piekkala-Fletcher

Gotcha. It is okay I may just bring my friends then. :) I had been busy in last few weeks because of flooding and misc. Let's get
everything settled for the FAD asap, such as food, snacks, meals, cakes, etc (yes all about food! :P).
And anyone want to stand up for presentations? Regards, kaio

Hey,
Is the FAD still going on? Word is that the State Library of Queensland
was damaged by the floods, though I haven't had a look for myself. LCA's been moved to the Queensland University of Technology Kelvin Grove campus, if you're looking to go ahead with the FAD you could possibly use that as your venue?
Cheers,
