It's great result. I also modified this page to move me to from "Unknown" to "Vietnam" category.

Hi, I am sorry to say, that this page should not be edited by hand. It will be overwritten in the next update. What you should really do, is login to FAS and set your country code. You will be automatically listed under your country. Thanks.

Thanks for putting this together Fabian and Susmit. It took me a minute to realize I had never set my FAS account to public, but I think I will be off the "unknown" list in no time now.

What is the purpose of this page in the future?
Is it intended to be where someone goes to find a contact? Or something else entirely?

country list = find a Ambassador verification page = verify a Ambassador
now we can deliver both with one site - we should keep the forwarder on the CountryList

Might be nice to have the new page also show where in the country the ambassador resides. That way you can find and verify the ambassador closest to you.

This was similar to my concern. If I want to reach someone in the group from India where there are over 100 listed I'm likely to just pick whoever is randomly in the #1 position. Which could easily overwhelm that ambassador.

The problem with this is FAS does not reveal any postal address to others, (even admins of a group) according to privacy policy of Fedora. We need to discuss this to find a workaround.

Should there be a link on the name to the Ambassador's wiki page, where he or she has contact information (hopefully)?

What about a field like an extra category in the wikipage? If the person does not comply displaying his or her region, will not be displayed... if they do it will be shown. Maybe something like state or the equivalent in other countries.

I agree with Neville, it would certainly be helpful for the users, and the first ambassador in the alphabetical list wouldn't be pinged all the time.

A better idea IMHO will be to update the latitude and longitude and build a visual map on that.

I totally agree with Neville. Let us send a notice to all ambassadors. And I guess even if an ambassador cannot provide with an exact address due to personal reasons he/she can atleast specify the region. It won't hurt as we are already aware of countries. It should be done as soon as possible.

It would be nice to build that into FedoraCommunity as well. Make a filter app based upon country / region.

Your account information is private. So, the script can not pick up the information. You will have to make it public if you want to list yourself under your country. Thanks.
