[Kick Off Call] Fedora Ambassadors Revamp

Hey All!

As the Taskforce leads are making progress with the Fedora Ambassador
Program Revamp,
we invite volunteers who have expressed their interest to help in the
endeavor.
A couple of days ago, we posted a survey and the results are in!

We will have a Kick-Off call over Google Meeting on Thursday,
Sept 10th, 1600 UTC. It will be recorded and will be accessible publicly
thereafter.

While I do agree the meeting should have been announced at least a week
in advance, your response is not excellent at all. Stop implying
ulterior motives, please. It's not scheduled in the middle of the night
and it was announced two days in advance.

Sumantro, would you consider rescheduling the meeting for next week, so
that everyone interested might have a chance to make plans to attend?

one day in advance, and for me its scheduled in the middle of the night.
You the best example of ignorance! The world isnt just Poland and the
countries in the CET time zone, there are some ahead of you.

Osama et all,

I already made space for the meeting, so I hope this is not cancelled.
Maybe it should have been announced earlier but it's not like we've got an
email in the last minute either.  There was time to plan.
About being  "in the middle of the night"...  well, I often have meetings
at midnight or later because that's more convenient to the people who
organise it, since they're in the US.  I never complained, if I can't I
just excuse myself and explain why I can't attend.  I never assumed they
had some ulterior motives or that they were  "ignorant"  because they chose
their office hours and I so happen to be several hours later.

And just to point out that one of the person who scheduled the call
lives in India and is UTC+5:30. So it would be late for them if for
someone :)
It's one of those times that suits the most people in our namespace
(Asia + EU + America and some more). While no time can cover 24 hours,
this is definitely a good time to keep meetings like this (and also to
point out that the time comes out of whenisgood survey).

Correct your time zones! I live thousand kilometers eastwards from that
poor Indian guy.

It's not about that's late it's just the time of notice and as we can all
see it's so short that we didn't get an answer to reschedule it

Thank you for sharing the link to the post and hence to the YouTube
recording. While I understand that it might slow down publishing, it
would help if at least a short list of key takeaways from the meeting
is also added to the post. The recording is 50-ish minutes and without
a summary it becomes a sort of adventure!
