Hey,
Great ideas like the link bellow can make the expression "Act locally, think globally" have a real meaning... ;)

Some of us at FUDCon were talking about activities to do with university students. This might be a good one to add to our [upcoming] list.

At Nicaragua we are about to celebrate our first anniversary of Pizza Bash. This is a informal meeting where a few advance users get together to help beginners with configuration problems, answer questions, share what we have been experimenting lately and eat pizza. We make kick-ass events, but at any event we had have a schedule to follows and everybody is busy. This informal event allows us to talk with people in a relax atmosphere. Some times is big (about 45) and some times is small (about 15), but we always have a good time.
Good idea to publish that on the wiki so everybody can adapt to fit locally.
Best regards.
wow!!!, is a good idea hahaha

Hello.
In Colombia, we're working with Cafe Linux, is the same idea but we didn't share it, in my region some one named Beer Camp; plus we're trying the Video Streaming.
Thanks for share.

La libertad, Sancho, es uno de los más preciosos dones que a los hombres dieron los cielos; con ella no pueden igualarse los tesoros que encierran la tierra y el mar: por la libertad, así como por la honra, se puede y debe aventurar la vida. One of the first efforts in Nicaragua involved Beer camps and barcamps... but with beer or bar, the only thing was drinking :p So we move away to open the afternoon with pizza (without beers) and then move on to a bar to drink as reward for the activity. That too can be included in the local fine tuning of these activities.
