Hello Everyone,
Greetings. :)
===================================================
Have any of you been inquired by your people about the Fedora 11 Preview now available for download? :)
The reason for my question is because I am currently distributing F9 and F10 media and I was "wondering" whether others have tried out and/or been asked about the upcoming version of Fedora. :)
I currently have downloaded and installed Fedora 11 and the experience is quite nice. Of interest to me is the iBus (Intelligent Input Bus) input method system http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/IBus to replace SCIM. :)
===================================================
I have been referencing my people and using the information from the "F11 Talking Points"
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/F11_Talking_Points
as part of my presentation information. :)
===================================================
Any thoughts and/or suggestions are greatly appreciated. :v)
Lastly, please have a great day and/or evening! :~)
Thank You Sincerely =-=-=-=-= - David - =-=-=-=-= David Ramsey =

I have in fact! One of the sales guys at our organisation was giving a presentation to a client a month or so ago, and the hard drive in his windows laptop died. He called on me to help them out, I realised what the problem was soon enough, and since I had a Fedora 11 Live disk burnt from a few days earlier, and the client was waiting, I took a chance. I threw the CD into the laptop, and the "dead" laptop was revived.
All the sales guys now carry a live CD in their laptop bags "just in case". None of them have been brave enough to replace their OS yet, but at least I've implanted the idea in their minds that Fedora is an alternative, and it can come to their rescue / is a good thing. They've always known that the techies in the office don't run Windows, and now have taken a little more interest in what we do run.
Nathan.

Hello Everyone,
Nathan, thank you for your input. :)

Wow! What a story, I like how this story goes. May I share this story with others? :)
All the sales guys now carry a live CD in their laptop bags "just in case". I was always a good scout and tried to be prepared. Good lesson learned :)
I have been trying a couple of the Fedora 11 (Leonidas) Preview kernels vmlinuz-2.6.29.1-102.fc11.i586 and vmlinuz-2.6.29.1-111.fc11.i586. :)
The American people whom I have met have expressed interested in getting Fedora 10 and recently, I have found that the Japanese people are very interested in getting Fedora 11. Seems, like about 15% of the kernel work is coming from Japan. :)
Please have a great day! :~)
