I played around with the code and well.. it works ;)
- the data file needs to be regenerated using the script (it has
an .erb extension, I moved it to correct this to .py)
Please make the following change so that it asks you for your FAS and
password, rather than using the dummy:

Dummy and .erb are for hosting the script.
These are fine.
- The ambassadors.html file worked for me after this tiny change
(could be an openlayers API change). Patch here:

Ah, thanks for the patch.
I've hosted a working version here
Please ensure that your locations in FAS are up to date.
Joerg, Susmit: I think you folks take care of this. I'd request that
this map be re-generated on a quarterly basis (the last change to the
data was made 3 years ago according to the trac). I could take care
of it if required. I don't know how to work server side etc., but I'm
sure I can learn :)
No, the data is generated every day. It is not three years old.
[susmit@susmit ~]$ wget -S
[susmit@susmit ~]$ ls ambassadors_location.txt -l
-rw-rw-r--. 1 susmit susmit 45442 Jun 19 23:52 ambassadors_location.txt
I will fix the map.
