Hi all,

This email is targeted towards any Ambassadors in western New York area 
or generally in the US Northeast. On September 17th at the Rochester 
Institute of Technology, there will be a Software Freedom Day 
celebration. Normally myself or cprofitt would be able to attend this 
event, but due to prior commitments, neither of us will be able to make it.

I wanted to put a call out for this event for anyone who be in the 
general area and interested in making the trip out (I don't anticipate 
there being a travel budget for this event).

Greetings Hackathon Fans,

Our first event for the 2016-17 academic year will be our Seventh Annual 
Software Freedom Day Celebration on Saturday September 17^th , from 9am 
though 5pm, in the RIT MAGIC Center.

There will be food/caffeine, free stickers/swag 
(first-come-first-served), and an open hackathon (social coding event).

The event is sponsored by the wonderful folks at Red Hat and FOSS@MAGIC.
