The problem I think is with the genhdlist itself. You just try with pkgorder before running genhdlist. I got the same problem some times ago. Hello Michael, Sorry for the delay. I was out-of-station for two days(may be due to the weekend holidays). You should not change the files in the BUILD directory. These are generated automatically when you run rpmbuild. You have to change the tarball in your SOURCES directory. Don't forget to compress the source files after changing the images. up2dateiso problems with FC2

Hello, I am the author of up2dateiso (http://www.brianlane.com/up2dateiso.php) which is a python program to update iso images with the latest rpm updates. The program works fine with RH9, FC1 and CentOS 3.1, but when new isos are created with FC2 the installer starts asking you to swap cds like crazy. I had thought that it was a problem with genhdlist that is included with the FC2 anaconda-runtime, but I just modified up2dateiso to use the FC1 genhdlist and I get the same results. I'm not yet familiar enough with the build process to figure out what's going on, but I suspect that whatever genhdlist uses to build its file list has problems. changing installer images

Hello, I'm trying to change the anaconda images, such as anacona_header.png and such. I'm doing this by installing the anaconda-images-src rpm, modifying it and rebuilding it. Yet rpmbuild seems to changes the images back to the standard fedora images. I can't run a patch on the files because rpmbuild complains that the patch contains "garbage". Any help?
