Hello,

how can I setup the kickstart to enable firewall and allow ICMP (pings, 
traceroutes) from outside without having to do any post configuration ?

does "post configuration" preclude %post configuration?

btw I think you will find that traceroute uses udp unless you tell it 
otherwise.

I don't use RH's firewall tools (I use shorewall), but I think you can 
create a firewall setup yourself and then just copy it in (maybe through 
sed) to your new machines.

Otherwise, a repackaged rpm with your settings in it?
