To "remaster" FC3 CD's and encountered the buildinstall error (below) on step 9. Any ideas?
BTW: I get the same error even when running the mentioned process against a clean copy of CD #1 (no added/deleted rpms).

No, there is no: /usr/local/test/fedora/i386/Fedora/RPMS/anaconda-runtime-[0-9]* (or anything similar).
BTW: I have packages: anaconda, anaconda-help, and anaconda-runtime installed.

Well, there's your problem, yeah? :)
You need to have a copy of the binary rpms you're building the installer with. (Not just installed, but the packages there.) And that's where the scripts you're using are looking.

Now I'm getting a whole list of errors on the buildinstall step... maybe a bit of clarification on what we a re doing at this point. We're trying to build a single CD customized distro...
(1) Copied CD #1 to working dir (2) removed unecessary rpms (3) added a few rpms from cd's 2-4 (4) added a few of our own rpms (5) following procedure at: http://bipolar.longbros.com/index.php?blog=5&p=29&c=1&page=1&...
One this we noticed is that there is no reference to fixing comps files... Is that necessary in our case?

Well, you'll want to remove any of the packages you don't include from the comps file, of course....

Just that one? 'Cause it actually wants a whole bunch. It's easiest to put the whole tree there. If you've only got anaconda-runtime, that'd explain the other errors. (Sorry I wasn't clearer earlier.)
