Trying to make Raid/kickstart work with F11. Need to be able to rebuilding / noformat a raid partition on install.
Tried adding update.img from this bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=503310
Fixed the problem, but produced a different bug (md device was detected as swap). Since this is not a real build of anaconda, I assume a bug is not appropriate.
Fedora 11 kickstart/anaconda is broken for me.
1. Is there a known method for pushing updates to anaconda for install media? (am I missing something obvious)
2. Is there a method to build (install.img or update.img), current anaconda (ie 12), to work with the previous release of Fedora (ie 11)?
Seems I can pull down git:anaconda@anaconda-12.3-1. I can "compile" with make. How can I make an appropriate update.img or install.img?
I would be willing to write up a wiki page about this if I could get started. I assume that 'backporting' from Rawhide to the Last Release would useful if there is not already a mechanism for this.
Thanx Nicholas
