Hi,
Recently I reflashed my BeagleBone Black. However, I find it simply
cannot go beyond uboot with Fedora 34 or Fedora 35.
Images I tried:
Fedora-Minimal-35-20211020.n.0.armhfp.raw.xz
Fedora-Minimal-34-1.2.armhfp.raw.xz
If I press the button when plug the power cable, it will loop forever
like the following
U-Boot SPL 2021.10 (Oct 14 2021 - 00:00:00 +0000)
Trying to boot from MMC1
U-Boot SPL 2021.10 (Oct 14 2021 - 00:00:00 +0000)
Trying to boot from MMC1
U-Boot SPL 2021.10 (Oct 14 2021 - 00:00:00 +0000)
Trying to boot from MMC1
CCCCCCCC
U-Boot SPL 2021.10 (Oct 14 2021 - 00:00:00 +0000)
Trying to boot from MMC1
If I don't press the button it will boot directly to the system in emmc.
I've tried different tf cards and concluded it's not the card issue.
The latest image that works for me on BBB is
Fedora-Minimal-armhfp-33-1.2-sda.raw.xz
It's interesting that the image has a different name schema that F34/F35
ones(the sda in filename). I roughly remember I also tried F33 without
'sda' - Fedora-Minimal-33-1.3.armhfp.raw.xz and IIRC this also cannot boot.
So is there any different for images with or without -sda ? Can anyone
offer some suggestions how I can test or boot F35 on BBB?
Thanks in advance!

Hello there,
I'm trying to install Fedora-Minimal-36-1.5.armhfp.raw on my raspberry pi 2B. Installation was a success but the device runs out of memory when trying to install anything via dnf and I get kicked out of the shell.
I've followed the installation instructions in https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Architectures/ARM/Raspberry_Pi#Manual, which specify that this model is supported since Fedora 29; so, is it there anything that I'm missing for Fedora to work?
Thanks,
Irene

Hello guys,
I am running 6 RPI4s with fedora 37. K3S is powering this cluster and it
is working well :)
But from time to time, 1 RPI is randomly hanging.
I am thinking about implementing a watchdog :
- software based, using embeded linux kernel
- hardware based such as https://www.omzlo.com/articles/the-piwatcher
Do you have any experience on one of theses two solutions ? Do you have
alternatives ?
By the way your job is fantastic and it is a great pleasure to be able
to run F37 on aarch64 so easily !
Thanks a lot
Hi,
With the removal of the armhfp koji target in rawhide, the
kernel-rawhide-nodebug kernel repository is missing an armhfp build.
As building an armhfp kernel on copr natively is inefficient (it would
use an x86_64 builder with qemu-system-arm emulation), I've setup a
copr repository that will cross-compile an armhfp kernel on a x86_64
host.
Currently available is a (normal) kernel package (and kernel-lpae)
tracking once a week the fedora kernel distgit repository unmodified
(aka 6.2-rc1).
(tested on trimslice)
I also plan to switch a kernel-longterm package from 5.15 to 6.1 in
the next few weeks.
Please see https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/kwizart/cross-armhfp/
Hopefully the fc36 EOL kernel will be in a good shape to shutdown the
armhfp architecture in Fedora.
Hope this helps.
