Yes, indeed! I was reading the same blog post. I was not aware that it
was enabled by default. This is the first time I've seen such
behaviour.
We use the Fedora defaults, and those defaults are up to the
NetworkManager maintainers, maybe there was a defaults change in
Fedora 30 or in NM 1.16.0
