That sounds like a good option - that page gives me a 404 though. Has
it moved somewhere else? All the google links point there as well.

I installed the kernel from
http://sheeva.with-linux.com/sheeva/ but also
included the kernel modules in my root device and usblp works great for me
on my Sheeva!
