Have these changes gone into mainline rawhide as yet? If not is there
a time frame to get the changes in? I'm in the process of kicking of
rawhide on ARM and we really need openjdk in there.

I found this crasher bug only yesterday. We're paddling as fast as we
can.
So what is the time frame? What is the impact to mainline if these get
committed? Are the code paths etc ARM specific? If the changes don't
impact x86 I would much prefer to get these changes into mainline and
release early release often than waiting for the perfect panacea. If
the mainline rawhide openjdk won't compile on ARM this is going to
have a major impact on our ability to build large chunks of the
release and impact the process for the entirety of rawhide.

The release process takes a week or so, but we have a big security
update coming down the pipe in about two weeks. Security gets
priority.
What is the impact to mainline if these get committed?
None, but it all requires the usual testing and release work.
Are the code paths etc ARM specific?
Almost all of them are, yes.
If the changes don't impact x86 I would much prefer to get these
changes into mainline and release early release often than waiting
for the perfect panacea. If the mainline rawhide openjdk won't
compile on ARM this is going to have a major impact on our ability
to build large chunks of the release and impact the process for the
entirety of rawhide.
The mainline rawhide openjdk will compile fine on ARM, it's just
rather slow.

Thanks for the update. Looking at the version
"1.6.0.0-0.arm1.68.1.11.fc15 " it's an ARM specific build, are the
fixes in mainline and rawhide?
