Hello twu,
I'm not sure I understood the question. How is it related to AutoQA?
Maybe this should go to 'test' or 'anaconda' mailing list instead?
I recommended to Tao that he reach out for automation guidance here (and
with anaconda-devel@). Thankfully clumens is a member of this list, and
can offer guidance from both angles. The work Hongqing and Tao are
doing with installation automation will be scheduled/managed by
autotest, and integrated with AutoQA. My hope is that Hongqing and Tao
can learn from folks more familiar with AutoQA internals ... and also
share progress on their automation efforts.
I suppose that Anaconda developers are the best candidates for
answering the equality/inequality of different install methods.
Your right, in the event questions/comments are more specific to the
nature of how anaconda behaves ... anaconda-devel@ might be more
appropriate in those cases.
Thanks,
James
