Archiving badges mailing list

Dear all, This list has become a ghost town. I just looked at the archive for the year running and last year: ### Statistics 2021: 3 messages total Two questions regarding issues with badges, one in January and one in July. The question from January was answered in June. Mail from July never received a response. 2022: 7 messages total Three strange looking messages in March. Ankit's introduction in July which no-one responded to. My message regarding getting Badges back in shape (total of three messages). ### Conclusion I think it's fair to conclude that this mailing list is no longer being used. I cannot see how many people are currently subscribed nor who, so I will again sent this mail cc to sysadmin-badges-members. Unless there's some overwhelming and convincing response this mailing list will be *archived per 22 November 2022*. ### What now (Future) Discussion regarding badges is still taking place. There's a tag [1] now on Fedora Discussion, to which you can subscribe and that will keep you on top of all things Badges. It's also possible to join the discussion from the comfort of your Inbox. Simply reply to any of the messages you receive and Discourse will add this as a response for the more GUI minded people. In that respect Discourse is able to bridge the gap between more traditional mailing list and more modern web interface fora. More and more traditional mailing lists are being moved to Discourse. Most notably python-dev has moved to Discord [2]. Hopefully, with more and more people (especially people new to Fedora) joining Fedora Discussions, we will be able to save the badger from extinction. Please respond on Discussion or to tickets on Pagure if you are able to help out with any of the items mentioned or known issues. Since the most recent discussions have taken place on, well, Discussion, and the mailing list has become very quiet, I'd like to ask everyone to provide their input on Discussion, so we have everything in one place. Hi all, I am ank22 & I am a developer [full-stack]. Looking into the fedora project loved the concept of fedora badges & I would like to learn & Contribute Both as a Developer & Designer! As a Developer, I have worked on a few projects mainly the backend, But I have the knowledge of the frontend and I can work on it. For my hobby I love to work on my youtube channel therefore I have designed my thumbnail & Clipart for my videos. I have also designed my ppt via canvas or adobe illustrator plus I like to draw. My main coding language is Python3, Other than that I know Java, JS, Cloud Computing & Few libraries related to Machine Learning. Hello, I'm Ichiho. I am a junior designer but I''m eager to do something for the Fedora community. To be frank, the main reason is that I think the email address of "[AT]fedoraproject.org" looks very cool! And in addition, I support open source software and the Fedora project. In my country, there are very few people use Linux on their desktop computer, and the desktop OS market is dominated by Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac. I think people should embrace free software. Fedora Workstation is a perfect Linux distribution. It is easy to use and has a friendly community. I joined FZUG (The official Chinese community of Fedora) not long ago, I feel good about the community, I am new to FZUG, and community members and a usually willing to guide me and help solve my problems. So I want to do my best to help Fedora development. I am interested in contributing to Badges because I can use Inkscape proficiently, I think I can do this work designing Badges. I was involved with designing a series of logos and a favicon for FZUG.I have some experience in open source or online communities, such as GitHub and FZUG. For a long time I was a member of a Chinese discussion group on the social media of Tencent, but I was not a contributor to the Fedora community. So this time I hope to actually join the Fedora community and contribute to Fedora. Sorry, my English is not good, some expressions may be incorrect, I hope I can get your understanding. Thanks! :D

Hi, there :) My name's Arman. I just joined Fedora since a month ago and just subscribed to this mailing list now. But I have started to be active in several other fields. Just one question when I looked at my badge list. It never seems to add up. I've done a few things according to the conditions to get some badges. But I can't seem to get it. For example, Baby Badger, Let Me Introduce Myself, and Crypto Panda. Is there anything I should do? Thanks and regards,
