Hi,
You are receiving this message because you are listed as a member of the Fedora Ambassadors Project and You are from Bangladesh.
I am performing some housekeeping as decided by FAmSCo.
If you would like to remain listed as an Ambassador, please respond to this message letting me know that you are still with us.
Also please let me know what you are working on and if you need any resources for that. We will work for arranging that.
If you do not want to remain listed as an Ambassador, please send me an email saying that you wish to be removed.
If I don't hear from you by Saturday, 11 March, 2009, you will be removed from this[1] country list of ambassadors.
Remember, nobody will be removed from Fedora Ambassadors, everyone in the project will keep its place. This is just an initiative aimed to have a list with people that could be contacted, in order to not have people (from the outer world and ambassadors) complaining they don't receive any answer from their country ambassadors. what you see, is direct to start creating an Ambassadors Contact List (was country list).
Thanks a lot for all the efforts you are extending to Fedora.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Finally they realised the necessity to do some housecleaning. =D

This email was sent to Fedora Bangladeshi Ambassadors, according to the addresses taken by FAmSCo, who are not active from a long time.
For example, according to the Fedora Ambassador Country List[1], there has some ambassadors who are old enough, but didn't even create there new wiki page (Fedora Wiki migrated 10 months ago). And there has some other Ambassadors who got reimbursements from Fedora for arranging Fedora Event, but we didn't hear anything from them for a long time. This housekeeping is only for old Fedora Ambassadors.

I wont make an opinion yet, but it totally sounds very rude and rubbish way of replying in a list. And specially using the official mailing address its not acceptable in any means.

Speaking from the view of an ambassador, I hope, that you don't communicate ever such statements as above to users when acting as ambassador or when representing Fedora. Surely you didn't meant the sentence such hard as you have written it, nevertheless it seems you're lacking basics about Fedora.
Please read carefully http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Ambassadors/Conduct .
Although it was a option of Mailman Mailing list (Hide the sender of a message, replacing it with the list address), and you didn't understand this, but it's not mean, you can use such a harsh word on the list.

Respect is what comes from inherited respect. If you conduct irresponsible behavior even to toddlers or infants you would get the same. Because its like a mirror. You see yourself in the others eyes. I can definitely tell that most members who are reading this thread didn't understand what was going on at all. About seniority I wont comment as I dont know anyone other than Russell Jhon & Angel :)
Anyways peace be there upon all

Hi, It was a option of the Mailman Mailing list (hide the sender of a message, replacing it with the list address), that's why four mails of this thread, you have seen, sender fedora-bangladesh-list@redhat.com. But to seeing the expression of Mustafa Gulam, I have disabled that option immediately.
This misunderstanding occurred because of me, that's right. And I apologies for this.

Preamble: When I replied this mail went to Angel only. Actually I intended to send it to the list
First and foremost an Ambassador should have very good communication skill by which he/she will command attention of others to listen to. I can clearly see this lacking.
Mr. Angel, we can see you are taking some initiative. But clearly the diplomacy is missing which is expected from an Ambassador. if you want to make all the Ambassadors in Bangladesh active then steps should be different. Or it is about getting them out.
Remember, all of us who enrolled and get ourself in the Ambassador list used our time and energy to figure out things for ourselves. And we all take activities which may very visible to merely visible. But it give you very little or no right to do something like KHOBORDARI.
So, I will sum up. Refresh your word and try yourself to be more acceptable which will be the biggest achievement of yours as an Ambassador from Bangladesh. remember, there is no loss if you show respect to your seniors. Only you will gain more respect from others

If you have any question about this housekeeping, why I am doing and what's the reason, please contact with FaMSco, whatever you think this is "Khobordari" or anything.
And I don't think, I disrespect anyone here. What happened here just a misunderstanding.

If you have read past emails in this list and past FAmSCO IRC log (I assume, you didn't), we justified it because we received a lot of feedback from people who were trying to get in contact with Ambassadors in Country List wiki page and, without success, didn't receive any reply.
If you are an ambassadors (even if not active) you'll remain an Ambassador, your name will not be shown in Ambassadors Country List, that's all.
