Any way I can install clear type fonts in Fedora 13? I know a very very long and complex procedure but is there any other easy way?

ClearType* is the name of sub pixel rendering(smoothing) for LCD's(how fonts are drawn ) . It's not a font technology though. To enable it , go to Appearance and enable sub pixel smoothing . That's it! but, you need heavily hinted fonts to take all advantage from the rendering . currently best fonts are webcore-fonts,webcore-fonts-extras (legacy fonts !) google to download them. in Appearance>>Fonts tab, choose Tahoma or Verdan which is easy to your eyes. your screen should change instantly to a much readable one. there is a corresponding fonts how to in Linux How To
[*] this is trade mark of the Legacy , so Linux distributors do not use the name.
Well, scared of source rpm? :P
Here, what u want, http://www.bevenhall.se/jim/fedora-cleartype/ . Read the PS before installing these fonts for instruction.
