Greetings All!
As our SIG grows, we've had many questions about details around packaging.
As a result, we would like to openly invite folks to join in a conversation.
Conference Dial-in Number: (605) 475-4000 Host Access Code: 680076* Participant Access Code: 680076#
Use the Freenode #fedora-bigdata channel for other-chatter.
Some links worthy of looking at prior to the conversation: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Join_the_package_collection_maintainers
I'll try to update the content on the wiki below prior to our conversation: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/SIGs/bigdata/packaging?rd=Big_data_packaging
Cheers, Tim
From experience with the ARM meetings you should conduct this as an irc
meeting and if its going to be a regular meeting schedule it on one of the #fedora-meeting* to make it easier for as many people to participate.

Peter,
There has been strong feedback for setting up a regular meeting. I hope to get that setup in the next week or so, unless someone beats me to it - the strongest feedback was to have a pre-published agenda.
This invite is for a high bandwidth crash course for folks who want to get involved in packaging and Fedora, but aren't already.
Best,
matt
