chain-build broken with the lastest code
by Nathan Blackham
I just updated to the latest code in the repo and it appears that
chain-builds are now broken. When I have specified more than one URL to
build before doing a "waitrepo" it will only build the first one and then
move on to the wait repo step without trying to build the rest of the
packages specified.
Anyone else seen this? Any ideas on where it might be broken?

Re-building the Fedora DVD.
by ibrahim hassan
Greetings!
I tried to download Fedora-12-i386-DVD.iso. It took me several days to
attempt it. I suppose it "overdownloaded" the iso image, so I now have a
size of about 5G stored on my harddisk.I was using wget.exe on a windows XP
system for this. Using a winrar reader I was able to view and extract the
contents of the image to a folder. I wondering how to rebuild the ISO DVD,
what image should I use from the images folder? Please tell me the exact
sequence of steps to achive this. Re-downloading the ISO is rather
cumbersome.
PLease also let me know where the DVD for this ISO is sold on the net and
how much. I resorted to downloading because foreign excahnge is rather hard
to come by around here.
Thank you.
Please reply to my email address.

[PATCH] Create missing directories for config_opts['files'] elements
by Paul Howarth
If I attempt to use:
config_opts['files']['some/file'] = ...
to create a file in a directory that's not already created as part of
the chroot "skeleton" in mock, it crashes out with a "No such file or
directory" error like this:

fo = open(p, 'w+')
IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory:
'/var/lib/mock/city-fan-fedora-11-x86_64/root/selinux/enforce'
This is because mock doesn't create any missing parent directories for
the file. The attached patch addresses this.
Incidentally, what I was doing was:
config_opts['files']['selinux/enforce'] = "0"
This is sufficient to fool libselinux-using applications in the chroot
into believing they're running in permissive mode, allowing for instance
an OpenSSH server to run on localhost on a high port and accept
connections as part of a package's test suite (libssh2 in this case).
This might be a useful thing to have by default, but that's a different
discussion.
Paul.
