FYI - I have moved mock's wiki to mock.git/docs directory and it is now visible on:
https://rpm-software-management.github.io/mock/
The old wiki has been deleted.
The reason for this is that GH's wiki is not indexed by search engines.
The edits of the documentation now needs to be done through PR. We welcome such PR and will merge them as soon as possible.

I have a question about the relationship with this documentation page and related Fedora wiki page "Using Mock to test package builds" [1].
These pages link to each other, but with conflicting notes:
From Mock user docs to wiki: "[The wiki page] has some useful tips for using mock." From wiki to Mock user docs: "A more up-to-date version of this information is in the Mock user documentation."
The latter claim seems false, the wiki page has many things that do not appear in the Mock user documentation. My question is: It is intended that the user documentation has all those items, except Fedora specifics like fedpkg usage?
At some point, I would like to migrate the wiki page to Package Maintainer Docs [2], but the page needs a cleanup before that. One of the problems I have is that I simply do not know where different topics should be covered.

Sorry for the later reply. Gmail moved this to SPAM folder.

This one is maintained by Fedora contributors. Whoever it is. Personally I wanted to delete this page several time, but it has some part which are usefull.
I wanted to migrate these interresting parts to Mock user documentation and then delete the wiki page. But never had time/will to do it.
Feel free to do it. Or whatever you think is right thing :)

Thank you for explaining this.
Yes, the responsibility for wiki maintenance is so distributed that it becomes invisible. This is one of the reasons why docs.fp.o/package-maintainers is better than wiki. You can send a pull request there and ask for comments, rather than just editing the live wiki page and potentially ruining the work of others.
When I find the time, I will take a look and clean up as much as I can. Certain parts are beyond my level understanding, particularly the optimization tips, so I probably will not touch those, at least initially.

Mention me in PR if you will want a technical review.
