Hello all
by Adam Miller
Hello fellow Campus Ambassadors,
My name is Adam Miller, I'm a Campus Ambassador at Sam Houston
State University in Huntsville, TX. I recently graduated with my
undergraduate degree in Computer Science and I am starting my Masters
Degree in Computer Science this Fall. I'm currently a Fedora
Packager/Developer, I've held a couple talks on campus in the past
semester, and I've gotten some positive feedback from new users who
are interested in contributing some code (once we can sort out some
organizational bits). When I first put my name on the Campus
Ambassador wiki page this mailing list didn't exist so I am happy to
see that the project is starting to move forward. So hello to all and
I hope we are able to make much more progress as we continue to move
forward with promoting Fedora on Collegiate Campuses.
Are there any current agenda items we want to start working on or
hashing out in terms of future plans, some sort of collaboration
efforts for semi-synchronized talks in terms of calendar time as well
as content?
Ideas and information of previously defined items are welcome, just
excited to get things going.
-Adam

I'm curious to know how many of our Campus Ambassadors are aware of
their regional contacts within the larger Fedora Project and the
Ambassadors group.
North America -- https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Ambassadors/NA/Regions
LATAM -- Rodrigo Padula or Maria Leandro
EMEA -- Max Spevack or Joerg Simon
India -- Sankarshan Mukhopadhyay
Asia -- Harish Pillay
Feel free to get in touch with any of us, for things that you need!

Introducing myself
by Giuseppe Coviello
Hi all, I'm Giuseppe Coviello, I study Computer Science at University
of Naples "Parthenope". Since I joined fedora ambassadors group, some
months ago, I'm acting like a campus ambassador: I have a "fedora"
pins on my bag, I recommend to try fedora to those who ask me which
distribution they should use, I try to help people having troubles
with fedora (and with other distribution too), they know that if they
have some question about fedora they can ask them to me.
On 18 June 2008 I organized, in occasion of the fedora 11 release, a
conference about fedora in my faculty; Gianluca Varisco (who
parteciped to the conference) wrote a report on the conference:

by Nitin P Kumar
hi all,
sorry for the last stub post!! I am Nitin P Kumar, pursuing my undergraduate
studies in Information Technology at National Institute Of Technology,
Jaipur, India. I have been an user as well as promoter of open source tech
since last two years. I have been giving talks for others at college
regarding the same since last year and teaching others is something i like.
I have tried many distros. Although not a big fan of Fedora, I have used it
and like it for introducing new things with each release( something others
lack). I primarily use Debian but during my recent project work i had to use
Fedora 9 and have come to like it. Other than that I am a LUG member of my
City. I feel the CA program is an ideal platfrom for students to upgrade
themselves as it provides a whole new opportunity.

Hi all,
I've just recently joined in as a fedora ambassador only a few days ago. My
first name is Qi Yang, and I am from Singapore. I am currently an
undergraduate in computer science from Nanyang Technological University,
Singapore.
I am still relatively new to being an ambassador, and seek all the guidance
I can get from everyone. :-)
That said, I am looking forward to working with fellow ambassador from both
Singapore and around the world in promoting Fedora, especially in campus!!
