SFD in NTU (Singapore)
by Qi Yang Er
Hi all,
Thought I would like to drop an email on this. The open source society in
NTU (that's my campus) is organising a series of activities this coming
Friday (18 September) for SFD. Unfortunately, I am currently away from
campus for the whole semester, and would not be able to take part in any of
it, or to help out in any way.
Nonetheless, I noticed on
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Campus_Ambassadors#Current_Campus_Ambassadors,
that there is a new campus ambassador
(*Chitpaseuth<https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Dolphin>
* (dolphin)) from my campus as well, (though I do not recall seeing his
introduction on the mailing list, nor see his name on the list of
ambassador). Curiously though, I do not even see his name in the mailing
list.
I could attempt to get more information from the organiser, and perhaps post
an event summary/report here, but I was thinking, perhaps if he is really in
the mailing list, he would be in a better position to post some information
up here for sharing. =)

Hello
by Steven Meyer
Hi, My name is Steven Meyer, and I thought I'd introduce myself.
I still remember the day my dad first introduced me to Linux, and my first
Distro was called Fedora (Core at the time). I remember the strange feeling,
the feeling of everything working as it should. It was fast, with lots of
free open source software, and no blue screens of death.
Years later I still use Fedora, and I am attached to it. The thing was, at
the time I really wasn't very technically inclined. I was a regular gamer,
CS and HL were great, but all I knew was the Power/Reset button and Windows.
Years later I still dont know everything, but at least Im making an active
effort to learn everything I can.
I'm a programmer, a gamer, a Linux user. Heres my link "
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Smeyer" Im working on my wiki page now.
Don't worry if its a bit sparse!
