post save command failure

The following post save command fails to run: getcert request -f /etc/pki/tls/certs/`hostname`-certmonger.pem -k /etc/pki/tls/private/`hostname`-certmonger.key -G rsa -g 2048 -c SelfSign -N "CN=`hostname`" -C "cat /etc/pki/tls/certs/`hostname`-certmonger.pem /etc/pki/tls/private/`hostname`-certmonger.key > /etc/pki/tls/certs/`hostname`-combined-certmonger.pem && chmod 700 /etc/pki/tls/certs/`hostname`-combined-certmonger.pem && systemctl reload haproxy" I can't figure out exactly why, there are examples of this type of thing working elsewhere: https://github.com/openstack/puppet-tripleo/blob/master/manifests/certmonge… But for me as soon as I get to the redirect '>' the command fails, anything simple like 'touch foo' works fine, but if I put in a redirect it fails. Any ideas as to why? On a side note you can see what we are aiming for here, but to have the ability to have a chained file natively supported in certmonger would be great. -Erinn

Comodo Helper Part 2

Comodo Helper

Folks I am developing a helper to make calls against the Comodo CA. There are a number of things I am confused by, mostly the Comodo API which seems to be... less than great. Anyway, I need to have a config file to hold state for the Comodo API, it hold the user, password, URL for the WSDL etc. Is there a recommended place for a config file like this? I'll probably have more questions as I move along, but that is it for now. Thanks, -Erinn

[PATCH] 0003 Fix CA option name for ipa cert-request

The attached patch fixes the argument name certmonger uses to indicate a particular issuer when requesting a cert from IPA. It is part of https://fedorahosted.org/certmonger/ticket/51 (ticket was still open so I figure it is OK not to option a new ticket). Thanks, Fraser

New CA helper - Vault

Hi list, I'm writing a helper for the CA in https://vaultproject.io/ It's written in Ruby, requires a few extra gems, is functional, but a bit basic right now. At the moment, it's going to live in Github. I'll post a link when it's ready for public consumption. If we did want to include the plugin in the Certmonger code-base & RPM, what's the process for that? Would we retain commit access to update the plugin and fix bugs? Do you have specific licence requirements? thanks James M
