fedora下面如何mount到samba server的目录？RHEL5里面有mount.cifs，但是在fedora的samba-client-3.5.2-59.fc13.x86_64怎么没有了mount.cifs
fedora 12 里面还有这个命令啊

现在的mount本身就支持-t cifs,不需要samba-cilent额外支持。 而且现在的mount默认是自动识别文件系统的，只要目标文件系统没有错误，不加-t选项可以自动识别挂载的。
[root@f13-test /]# mount -t cifs //<server IP>/pub/ /mnt/ mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on //<server IP>/pub/, missing codepage or helper program, or other error (for several filesystems (e.g. nfs, cifs) you might need a /sbin/mount.<type> helper program) In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try dmesg | tail or so

看了下手册，mount -t cifs是要调用/sbin/mount.cifs的，我原来看mount的手册以为cifs支持是完全在内核里的。
f12的samba-client依然有cifs相关的支持，f13包我刚才看了确实没有了，你yum provides *bin/mount.cifs看看这个文 件被哪个包所包含。

用yum查了下rawhide的repo，现在cifs的支持通过cifs-utils包提供，大概因为这样和其他文件系统支持的风格相同，而且只需 要mount cifs的话，就不需要安装完整的samba-client了。
