[FZH] Fedora 分区问题

hi ,all :

我在安装fedora 12时候出现了下面的问题：

机器环境如下：

本机40G硬盘， 由于没有DVD光驱，所以先装了个XP, 然后通过XP再装了Fedora,
在选择分区的时候，我选择的是缩减XP的空间大小的那项，其他的都默认安装，
安装好后出现的分区如下：

看到/dev/dm-0有16G的空间， 我就想把它格式化掉，在格式化的时候，
却出现了：

.....

First cylinder (1-1948, default 1):

这里我选择默认但是还是报错。

由于现在安装好fedora后， 硬盘就 大概有 10G, 感觉太小了，
所以我想把windows那块格式化掉。

请教各位童鞋们，该怎么做呢？

我想你应该把你的C盘也格式化成LVM（系统｜管理｜逻辑卷管理器），然后就可以加入到你的Linux里了。

你的意思是说对/dev/sda1 进行格式化？

你的boot分区是独立的分区，其余的比如根分区/、/home、/usr分区等等都是在逻辑卷（LVM）里面吧，所以你可以把/dev/sda1和/dev/sda5格式化为逻辑卷，然后把它们加入到逻辑卷组里，再分配给/home分区，这样Linux可用的磁盘就多了。

话说貌似更改分区表的话是对某个块设备进行操作而不是块设备上的分区吧？ /dev/sda1 代表的是首歌主分区而不是设备啊。
试试：

fdisk /dev/sda

您應該輸入 fdisk /dev/sda

/dev/sda1 是指第一個硬盤的第一個分區，而您用 fdisk 修改分區表，應該是寫 
/dev/sda 。

是有点乱。我倒是你建议你备份硬盘的重要内容后，重新安装xp，再安装fedora。fedora是可以用usb key/ hard
drive安装的，也或者你用网络安装。而且我建议你不要用fdisk了，最好用parted。后者有更好的兼容新。

我记得有这么几个选项：
1。 缩减xp 的大小
2。选择整个硬盘
3。特制配置

我当时选择 的是第1个， 我把xp 缩减到了3G以内， 然后在安装Fedora 的

第一个选项是缩减原来存在的分区，第二个是选择整个硬盘，一定要注意的是，如
果移动硬盘插在电脑上，也会被格式化的。第三个选项是由用户自己决定安装在哪
个分区上。一般来说，安装双系统的最好选择3，这样就不会混乱，条理清晰……

OT 我比較期待 SSD 價位快點下來多一點。真的他老闆的太貴了。

看到误导人的说法就不得不回

多系统环境，用户就是为了切换方便才做这样的环境

逻辑分区里的系统是可以被主分区的引导程序载入!

GRUB,NTLD都可以，还算有第三方不计其数的专用引导管理程序。

当年上学时候13G的大硬盘，我装上过超过6个不同种类系统，不算DOS。

如果还在这上面犯糊涂的话，就说你对NTLD,及Grub这些到底是干啥用的都没深刻理解。

主分区有啥特别之处？ 你用fdisk就知道可以做激活操作？这个激活是让计算机加载在该分区上的引导程序，

我们在指定的一个主分区上加载一些引导程序，就可以让他继续搜索其它分区上的系统文件了，

Wu Hui兄高手，配置grub，我确实没什么经验，多系统安装的时候，我是让其自动
搜索可引导分区信息的，安装在逻辑分区上的，貌似是不能自动搜索到的，我就一
直固执地以为，grub只能识别主分区上的启动信息，在主分区上的系统，如果设为
激活分区，MBR中的分区表以80开头是可以自举引导的。这是BIOS正常引导，grub
做的正是启动其他非激活主分区系统的工作，我忽然想起当年安装多系统XP的时
候，我确实是在D盘装一个，E盘装一个，加上C盘的就是3个系统，当时没特别留
意，这其实就是已经安装在逻辑分区上了。按这样的话ntldr可以很轻松安装6个系
统。既然ntldr可以启动逻辑分区上的系统，为什么grub就不可以呢？当然这个配
置我曾经做过，是配置启动debian，以及从debian启动fedora的，可惜都没有成
功。而且debian上grub和fedora的grub配置的表达好像还是有些出入的。
    另外一个值得注意的是，如果用ntldr启动linux，好像只能把linux安装到主
分区，没测试过安装在逻辑分区上的linux使用dd命令镜像分区第一扇区后，能否
被有效启动。

现在我把我的认识归纳如下，欢迎各位高手指点。
1、一台计算机上可以装超过4个系统（其实说4个限制也是不对的，以为扩展分区
占一个，即使grub不能引导逻辑分区上的系统，也最多能装3个才对）。
2、通过配置grub可引导逻辑分区上的系统。
3、ntldr可以引导逻辑分区上的系统。
4、ntldr不能引导逻辑分区上的linux系统。

谢谢， 我就想把整块硬盘都使用Fedora 12, 但是由于没有DVD光驱，所以只能硬盘安装.

就先装xp , 然后在通过grub for docs 来指定Fedora 的kernel 以及initrd 的路径。
