[FZH] 关于 术语对照表 的一个协作方式的讨论

位于Google Docs的 术语对照表 目前处于活跃编辑中。

今天下午从 happyaron 那里得知，launchpad上有专门的术语 po文件。采用BSD License。
本人与 happyaron 进行了个人讨论(邮件末尾附聊天记录)。

讨论大概意思是想把两边的朋友动员起来，通过另一种方式，两边协作，更有效的编辑 术语对照表。
大概计划如下；

1. po文件翻译(分zh_CN,zh_TW, zh_HK)-提交(happyaron建议仍在launchpad，因为比起google
docs，大陆的朋友更容易访问一些。但缺点是没有google docs那样实时便捷---我的个人看法)
2. 翻译完成的po文件经过处理，合并为一个统一的文件(表格，html等)，成为一个术语繁简对照表，以供以后使用。

我觉得这么做的优点是可以使用现成的术语词条，如果是用Google Docs，那么需要大家不断的去添加词条。
整个过程需要单独的翻译提交平台(如launchpad)，因此对于Fedora列表下的朋友来说，如果想要加入编辑行列，可能需要去注册另外的帐号。


具体是否可行，如果可行如何实施，仍需要进一步讨论。
因此发出此邮件，征求各位朋友的意见和想法。

那如果这样的话，这个po文件的翻译，怎么协作？比如在何处进行？因为翻译的地方多，每个人常用的也不同。如何协调？

對我來說，如果變成 PO 我就不會再有心力去參與；gdocs 我可以幾秒就開起來， 
還可以看到自己沒有多餘的翻譯到已經有的詞語。

在 launchpad 的話可以在其網頁界面翻譯嗎？

這樣做的話，我們之中必須有一位能站出來負責定期（如每天）從那邊備份吧？ U 
那邊有介紹過他們如何把這個術語表協作成果，回饋開源社區的計劃？
不好意思，可能我對 U 回饋開源社區的主觀印象有點偏頗。

這是另一個考量。雖然我有 launchpad 帳號，不過在 FP、Google 後再要特地登

是的，不过 backport 了很多东西到这棵内核树，好像 KVM 和 ext4 都是后来才加入到后续版本的主干内核上的。

[FZH] RHEL 5.5出了，更新的东西真是少

RHEL的一个主版本从发布到生命周期结束（据说是7年？）内核版本号都是不会变的。这样至少的一个好处是，第三方厂商的驱动可以不用改，由 RedHat
担保其兼容性。其他主要库版本也是如此。

据我所知中国的企业工作站已经大都被ubuntu占领，工作站毕竟不是服务器，还是需要X的

就算用 Ubuntu 也要用 Ubuntu LTS, 不會比 RHEL 很多，更新一樣保守。
