gating and karma

If one sets up CI tests with reasonable coverage and uses gating, is there 
a way and is it desirable to skip the karma check for moving from testing 
to updates?

I'm assuming that updates from Bodhi into Rawhide (as planned by the
Rawhide Gating work) will soon be allowed without karma and just test
results.

Is that correct?

Yeah that's the plan for Rawhide - we don't require any karma for
Rawhide today so that's consistent with policy.
