#87: Fedora Magazine Post: How to Use Dockerfiles
-----------------------------------+---------------------

Need to do a post on how to use Dockerfiles and maybe how to contribute
patches to Dockerfiles.
Should this also live on the wiki?

#68: support HVM instances in EC2

We currently only support Xen paravirtualized images (PV) in EC2. We need
to support HVM as well.
(This will require changes to our EC2 image production and upload process,
and may require changes to our bootloader code as well. Particularly, it
probably takes away our clever hack for providing different kernel
parameters in EC2.)

I just tried to spin up "cloud" instance of F21 on EC2 only to discover
it's requirements for 12G volume (???). Am I doing something wrong or
did F21 jumped from moderate 2-3G (F20) over to 12G "overnight". I
assumed "cloud image" would be a tiny set of packages with very little
requirements to fit into all flavors offered by EC2 and alike. Was this
done to accommodate Docker?

#90: Decide whether to update cloud image to not include ruby

Now that heat-cfntools has removed its dep on Ruby, the cloud image should
be able to remove it.
Should it be rebuilt without ruby, or will users have an expectation that
it will always be included?

Hey all,
I suspect things will be quiet-like around here over the holidays, but
just in case - wanted to give a heads up that I'll be out of pocket from
the 22nd to the 5th of January.
Odds are I will poke around on email / IRC a few times during that span,
but no promises and communications are sure to be laggy.
If anything is super-urgent, you can probably raise my attention quickly
on Twitter (@jzb).
Best,
jzb
