Fedora Atomic Two Week Release Delay

Hello all, Today we found an issue with the system that the Fedora Release Engineering Two-Week Atomic Host release automation uses to query for the latest builds that have passed testing. This is currently being looked into and we hope to have a release out tomorrow (2016-02-10). Hi all, I now have a working version of fedora-motd[1] for use in Fedor Cloud images. You can give it a run as follows: Setup ===== git clone https://github.com/rtnpro/fedora-motd.git cd fedora-motd sudo python setup.py install sudo echo "session include motdgen" >> /etc/pam.d/sshd sudo motdgen-cache-dnfupdateinfo Usage ===== SSH login to the machine you setup fedora-motd on, and you should see something like: Last login: Thu Feb 4 22:39:21 2016 from 127.0.0.1 22:39:58 up 17 days, 13:52, 6 users, load average: 0.88, 0.68, 0.46 Updates Information Summary: available 34 Security notice(s) 66 Bugfix notice(s) 26 Enhancement notice(s) 1 other notice(s) Let me know what you think. I wish I could get rid of the step to modify /etc/pam.d/sshd, but I could not find any workaround. If the above looks good, I will make an RPM package for it and put up for review. Deletion of AMIs in the EC2

What is the motivation for the eager deletion of the official Fedora VM images (AMIs) from EC2? The image for 21 is already gone even though it is not even two years old. Ubuntu is keeping the images around much longer.

Fedora Cloud box idea

Hi I would like to build an small, and cheap cloud solution that maybe can be our next solution for media distribution. As a POC, I would like to know what kind of cheap ARM board has enough horsepower to provide access to our images (eg. remote tftp server, info site, and more), and can work as our infotaintment server at events if someone joining to this openly accessible box at events. Future Automated Testing for Fedora Cloud

Hello all, There has been some discussions happening as of late around the topic of Fedora QA and Fedora Cloud. Currently Fedora Cloud testing mechanisms are a not directly in line with that of the Fedora QA Team. It was discussed back at Flock that we would like to work towards bringing the tooling into alignment and I would like to help facilitate just that. The jist is that everything is going to be plugged into Taskotron or powered by Taskotron in the future. If you're interested in details, please feel free to check out the etherpad here: https://public.etherpad-mozilla.org/p/TaskotronAutomation I'd like to bring this up as a topic at a future Fedora Cloud meeting but wanted to at least kick off discussions around the topic space on the list.
