Newbie Question

Please forgive my new pie question, but how exactly do you install one of the AMI images
on EC2?  For instance, I am want to install the image with the AMI ID of - ami-2ea50247.
When I search for this ID through the AWS console, I do not get a hit back.  Is there
something I need to do first?

Double check that you have "Viewing:" "All Images" "All
Platforms"
selected in the
EC2 dashboard/console.

You might just be searching only images owned by your account ( "Owned
by me")

Thanks for the reply.  Shortly after I posted, I was able to get it deployed.  I do not
know why it did not show up in my first search as I thought I had the parameters right,
but oh well.  I am sure it was operator error.
