idle=halt on grub command line in cloud image?

I just want to double-check that this is still the right thing to do in
EC2 (and in our other virt platforms).

I notice that Amazon does not have this in their grub.conf for Amazon Linux
(even for 32-bit) and I don't want to be cargo-cult carrying it forward.

IIRC, it was added because of this bug:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=739499

Since that seems to have been fixed, I think it's worth giving an image 
without idle=halt a shot.
