Hi,
I've been using the Fedora 14 EC2 images since their release. I now look forward to upgrading my servers since Fedora 15 has come out, but I cannot find any information about the EC2 images.
The EC2 Images page on the Fedora website lists only Fedora 14 images. The Cloud SIG page already contains information about Fedora 16 plans, but little to no information about Fedora 15. All I know is that there was a test day.
Is there a release date for these images? Where can I find more information?
Best Regards, Arcturus

There are currently some test images available:
32bit ami-1a1ee773
64bit ami-7a1ee713
EBS backed versions of these should be available within the next 24 hours.

Where are those being built?

Will the process/scripts used to create them be posted online? Partly for educational purposes and also for those that can't use public images from non-approved sources.

Hi,
Thanks for this information, and for updating the page.
I see these test images are in the us-east-1 availability zone. When you say EBS-backed images will be available soon, are you talking about all availability zones or only us-east-1?
I ask this because I'm waiting for images in the eu-west-1 availability zone for my server.
Best Regards.

One more question, did you fix the missing man pages bug?
Thank you in advance, I.

I noticed the lopsided disk allocation (2Gb to /, 414GB to each of /mnt and /data) is still present in the Amazon EC2 64-bit image. My personal bootstrapping script already (because of Fedora 14) does a bunch of mv, rsync and ln commands to compensate, but I was hoping this Fedora 15 release would have a more balanced disk allocation. Is there some bug tracking system that I should have used, in addition to mentioning it on this list? I'll certainly report an issue if it might mean that Fedora 16 has a more balanced allocation.
Thanks,
Simon
