Hi,
Just a reminder about the test day happening next Tue at: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2012-09-18_OpenStack It will focus on OpenStack Folsom RC1
The test days are a great way to try on the latest versions, but also if you're new to OpenStack, as great way to get a quick overview of the project with practical recipies to try.
thanks, Pádraig.

So the test day yesterday was certainly very busy. Thanks to all those who turned up! We're going to run another next Tuesday, details below.
Testing was done on combinations of Fedora 17, 18, virtual and bare metal machines.
There were some issues noticed due to backwards incompatible changes on Fedora 18. For example: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=858311#c6 https://review.openstack.org/#/c/13237/
There were some upstream OpenStack issues noticed too, like: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/13279/ https://review.openstack.org/#/c/13283/
Note the OpenStack Nova and Cinder Folsom RC1 releases are only being prepared upstream now. So with that in mind, and with a view to have more focused testing on new Folsom features, we'll be having another test day next Tue 25th Sept.
We'll continue to use the URL above, and the #fedora-openstack IRC channel on freenode.
thanks, Pádraig.
