Hi,
The point is if this feature is supported or not by Cobbler. This function is very usefull in HPC environment and Cobbler could become a standard in HPC if it includes that.

Linux building is not based on disk images. There are lots of downsides to building systems this way. Disk geometry changes and maintainability of the build are two.
