HI All,

I having some difficulty finding out which version of Cobbler
introduces *official* support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2. In
some release notes there will be a mention of official support for a
particular distro version, but not often. For example, Cobbler version
2.2.1 says "Add support for Fedora16, rawhide, OpenSuSE 11.x and
12.1." That's awesome but other release notes don't always offer as
helpful and obvious details. Browsing Git source is laborious and so
far hasn't helped a whole lot. So, in general, is there a central
place (like a table) showing official support for distro version in
specific Cobbler versions? I haven't been able to find such a thing
and I'd love to have one. In fact, I'm willing to maintain a page on
the Cobbler wiki if I have proper information from the right people.
:-)

Hi Patrick,

I agree, there should be a table of supported OS'es on the website. This is crucial information for (future) users, we need to improve communication about these things. It's also nice to have such a table (test matrix) when testing new releases, it's also something the community can help us out with.

I've put it on my todo list.

You can easily see what's supported in master: https://github.com/cobbler/cobbler/blob/master/cobbler/codes.py

Thanks for reporting!
