Tests with SELinux, new images

Hi, the integration tests now run with SELinux enabled, and there are new test machine images because of that. As usual, running VERIFY or testsuite-prepare should download them automatically. There shouldn't be any changes necessary in our development environments, but you might try to "setenforce" them, too. Happy enforcing!

Cockpit 0.8 released

Cockpit 0.8 has been released: https://github.com/cockpit-project/cockpit/releases/tag/0.8 This is a big milestone, in that we've moved beyond our prototype stage, and closed up a bunch of security/stability issues. In particular, we respect the system access privileges and don't provide ways to escalate privileges without going through the usual channels like polkit or sudo. Because of this some features that used to work for accounts in the wheel group, no only work as root. We're working on fixing this regression by fixing system default policies in the various services (like NetworkManager) that we access. Our goal is that having Cockpit 0.8 or later installed should pose no security risk. That said, you should still be careful when using it to manage your system. Cheers, Stef

Cockpit master now listens on port 1001

Hi, we just changed the port that Cockpit listens on by default. It's just nicer. You need to download new images for the integration tests, because the firewall configuration in them have changed. The VERIFY script should do this automatically (via testsuite-prepare).
