Hi,
I have finally started with the test cases for our test day on the 16th:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2014-09-16_Cockpit#Test_Cases
I plan to finish the cases tomorrow and then continue with the general text (setup, images, caveats, ...).
Feedback more than welcome!

Mind if I flesh a few of them out a bit more? (Like trying a password change with the password not matching the confirmation or the password being the same as the old password[1]).
I'm going to edit the pages directly, please feel free to revert or modify them if you find them inappropriate.
[1] I just tried this one and it happily allowed me to succeed, so I filed: https://github.com/cockpit-project/cockpit/issues/1142

Please do!
However, I have tried to avoid 'overspecifying' the tests so that people will try unexpected things, and so that we also learn how well they find their way around the UI. Let's try to keep that spirit.

Also, we shouldn't have any test cases for the test day that already fail for us. Thus, the password quality step probably needs to be removed.

Ok, I think it's pretty much done from my point of view. Please check and rewrite as necessary.
(While writing the test cases and trying them out, I have already found some "d'oh" bugs, but as they are written now, the test cases should all succeed.)
What's missing are the instructions for setting up the test machine.
I'll try TC6 with potentially updated Cockpit, and if that is good enough, I'll write instructions for that.
