Technical issues with WP, and questions about review, etc.
by Josh Berkus
CommOps:
On thursday, I submitted a post for review on changes to the Atomic WG.
I had a few technical issues with WordPress, which are ongoing:
1. Somehow submitting my article for review created a 2nd, empty post
with the same title and "Draft" status. I have since trashed this 2nd
post, but reporting it here.
2. I need to fix a link in the post submitted for review. However,
there appears to be no way to edit an article once it's changed to
Pending Review status. I tried changing it back to Draft status, but
apparently I can't do that either.
I also have two related questions:
* How long should I expect to wait before my article recieves feedback?
* Can we add "Atomic" as a topic for Commblog?

Technical issues with Commblog, article wiped
by Josh Berkus
Folks:
On Thursday, I wrote an article for Commblog and submitted it as a
proposal using WP.
I checked it on Friday and there hadn't been any responses.
Today, I looked to see if there had been any review, and I find that:
a) my post has reverted to "draft"
b) all content has been wiped out (word count: 0)
Is your WP instance broken? What's going on?

Students as a marketing/outreach audience (Reviving the University Outreach Objective?)
by Matthew Miller
At the Fedora Council meeting today, Eduard mentioned work from both
CommOps and Marketing to reach out to universities and students. This
is cool, but I'd *really* like to see it in concert with reviving the
University Outreach objective (which sort of trailed off when Remy
moved on). Additionally, I'd like to make sure we align this with the
audiences identified by the Editions -- "students" alone is very broad!
-- and with the revised Fedora mission statement.

SELF 2017 article on the CommBlog
by Justin W. Flory
Hello all,
In the Magazine meeting today, we were reviewing some of the drafts and
we went through the "Southeast Linux Fest (SELF) 2017 Ambassadors
report" article. Since this was looking more at a community topic, we
ported it over to the Community Blog and updated the author credits.
As of now, I'm scheduling it for Monday, July 17, 2017 at 08:15 UTC. You
can see a preview link of the article here:
https://communityblog.fedoraproject.org/?p=4028&preview=1&_ppp=6ba9d39410
If anyone notices anything that needs to be fixed or if the article
needs to be delayed a bit longer, please let us know on the CommOps
mailing list. :)
Thanks!
