Hi,
This is Harsh Jain from India. A sophomore who is currently pursuing
Computer Science in Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
I am comfortable with git, version control system and uses Linux on a daily
basis. I have worked on web development and have also done some project in
C, python, java, and Clojure. I also have strong
object-oriented programming background.
Currently, I am reading Linux from scratch and have studied courses like
Computer System Architecture and Design, and want to dive deep into
operating system development.
I am interested in contributing to Fedora as Fedora is one of the distros
that closely follows linux and is a welcoming community for beginners.

Hey all! This week's meeting just came to an end.
Our discussion centered around the FAD and reviewing any supporting work
leading up to next week. The logic model and a tentative schedule are
also set (we made some modifications based on feedback this morning).
As a note, we will **not** have an IRC meeting next week, since most of
the team will be in Brno. I'll try and update this in Fedocal. :)

Hi there,
we (l10n team) would like to write a short blog post about the
possibility to translate into Filipino, and request for contributions.
As I'm not a good writer, neither English native, I don't feel like
comfortable writing a draft for this...
We started the process a two months ago: https://pagure.io/g11n/issue/43
Basic information to provide:
* tell a few facts about https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filipino_language
* currents goals are to translate websites and a as much priority
packages as possible (starting with Fedora Media Writer)
* invite to join localization team:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/L10N/Join
* for any question, send an email to
https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/trans-fil@lists.fedoraproject…
or open a request at https://pagure.io/g11n/
Add a little warning, Gnome cannot _yet_ be translated in Filipino
https://l10n.gnome.org/languages/
If enough contributors, they definitely should organize themselves and
start translating this great (and huge) piece of software. We'll help
them to get the contacts if needed.
thanks a lot for your help,
