Greetings, Shankar! Apologies for the delayed response on this post. It
appears that your post got caught up in the moderation queue! I manually
patched it through, but make sure you are subscribed to the mailing list

It's awesome to hear that you're interested in working on Python
projects in Fedora. Fedora is a strong proponent of Python and many of
the applications running in our Infrastructure are all powered by
Python. Have you looked through the easyfix bug page? This page has a
range of bugs that are designated for new contributors to look into
tackling, and many of the projects there are Python.

Pagure, the open source git forge where many projects in Fedora live, is
all open source too, and if that sounds interesting, there are
definitely ways for you to get involved. I recommend joining
#fedora-apps channel on freenode and introducing yourself there. Many of
the development-oriented folks working on projects can give you some
pointers for projects to check out.
Also, if you haven't yet, "What can I do for Fedora?" is another great
site to poke around with to show the different areas you could
contribute to.

I hope this helps answer some of your early questions about getting
started with contributing to Fedora. If you have further questions,
please don't hesitate to reach out. :)
