I'm hopeful we can help LATAM grow yes. Visiting for FUDCon Cordoba was so
inspiring, and LATAM is one of the regions where I think we can grow the
most.
There is definitely a lot of overlap with what we do and helping
improve
some of the utilities and infrastructure available to the Ambassadors. One
of the tickets currently in our Trac is about helping identify and/or
create a series of badges to help better improve the on-boarding process
for new Ambassadors.
Perhaps this is one thing you might be interested and well-equipped to
help us work
closely on.

If you have any questions about getting started in CommOps, feel free to
ask. I see
you also added your info to the "Interest areas" section on the
wiki. :) You can also see my previous email to Sachin for some more ideas
about getting started in CommOps.
Welcome to the team!

With Tatica recently being added as D&I advisor to council, and potty
getting elected to famsco, I see LATAM leaders coming forward in the
project in big ways. CommOps is here to help support the region, and you
and your work has already had major impact even beyond Nicaragua and
robotics.
Glad you are here Neville, and I look forward to seeing what we all can
accomplish this year.
