Hi All,
I just want to introduce myself. I am a junior web developer and recent
graduate of Flatiron School.
I met with Remy in January at the WiTNY Conference and I have been looking
into the Outreachy program. I'm interested in getting involved in the open
source community and I noticed that the Outreachy project listed for 2016
is the Fedora Kernel Tooling Project. However, there are several other
links that show other projects.
I would like to know, is there a link with all the projects available for
round 12 or is the kernel tooling project the only one? Also, is there
someone I can direct all my questions to throughout this process?

Hello Remy,
It was a pleasure meeting you at the Women in Tech New York Conference
(WiTNY), I value the knowledge you shared on open source software
resources, how to contribute to the community in order to learn and
ultimately advance a career in tech. A quick overview about myself, I am a
recent graduate of the Flatiron School Web Development Fellowship.
Throughout the program I was able to build Ruby on Rails web applications
with my new found knowledge of MVC frameworks, database query interfacing
with SQLite, and front-end technologies like Bootstraps and HTML5/CSS3.
I have been looking into Outreachy, the mentoring program you suggested,
and it seems like a promising opportunity I would definitely like to be a
part of. I would also like to obtain an internship position that allows me
to use my creativity, problem solving skills, and the tech skills
I acquired at Flatiron. If you hear of any opportunities, please keep me in
mind. I appreciate your help in advance.
